Environmental policy
We have received ISO14001 which is the certification of environmental conservation and we, by all of our company, are making effort of “manufacturing products caring environment” with considering next generation.
- We, based on basic management policy of Nomura Unison group, always recognize the influence to environment by our business activity and, by all employees of our company heading by officers, promote to establish the environmental management system for realization of sustainable society harmonizing with nature.
- We keep the requirements to our group such as environmental regulation or arrangement with residential area, etc. and constructively correspond to the requirements by interested people to the Extent possible.
- We decide self-standard to the extent possible technologically and economically and make effort Of preventing from environmental pollution.
- We annually environmental targets considering variable conditions and information and make effort to improve continuously for the achievement of the targets and periodically review the environmental management system.
- Regarding business activity of our group influencing environment, we preferentially correspond to the following items.
- Efficient use of resource and energy
- Control of chemical substance and reduction ofhazardous material
- Reduction of waste and promotion of recycling
- Improvement and control of exhaust gas and waste water density
- Participation to protection and conservation activities of biodiversity and ecosystem
- We thoroughly inform the environmental policy to all employees and educate them to promote the activities.
- We publicize the environmental policy to our group companies and also outside.
Safety, health policy
- We, Nomura Unison group, establish labor safety/health management system and promote the continuous improvement activities by all employees of our group in order to secure safety/health of all employees and establish comfortable labor environment.
- We keep regulation regarding labor safety/health and the other requirements which we Have agreed.
- We adequately understand dangerous/noxious factors and promote the reduction activities by implementing risk assessment regarding all business activities by our group.
- We set safety/health targets and safety/health plan to achieve safety/health policy, and periodically review them and also continuously improve them in accordance with the situation.
- We thoroughly inform the environmental policyto all employees by education and training, and try to improve awareness on labor safety/health.
- e periodically implement the internal audit and review by officers of the labor safety/health management system in order to maintain it adequately and certainly.
- We publicize the environmental policy to our group companies and also outside.
Health management
Certified as a “Healthy Management Excellence
Corporation 2023
Nomura Unison Co., Ltd has been authorized as an excellent health and productivity management
corporation 2023 (minor enterprises division) mutually promoted by METI (Ministry of Economy,
Trade and Industry) and the Japanese Health Society. (4th authorization followed by 2020)
Nomura Unison group will make efforts for promoting health of employees’ mind and body
from now on too.
Authorization system of excellent health and productivity management corporation
Authorization system of excellent health and productivity management corporation is a system to celebrate companies (major or minor enterprises) which implement especially excellent health management based on the efforts for local health problem and the efforts for health promotion by the Japanese Health Society.
Visualization of the excellent health management corporations is the target to prepare the environment that the authorized companies are deemed as good companies by the employees, job applicants, relating companies and financial institutions.
